If you choose to have this vest embroidered with your dog's name, we will embroider the name on the colored portion on the left-hand side of the vest. Dark vests will be embroidered with white thread and light vests will be embroidered with black thread. This causes a striking contrast that is simply beautiful. PLEASE Select font style in the options when ordering IF YOU WOULD LIKE CURSIVE OR BLOCK FONT USED FOR THE EMBROIDERY.
A note about sizing - please make sure to measure your dog's girth, TWICE, for an accurate measurement. To do this, use a SOFT FABRIC measuring tape and measure your dog around the chest just behind the front legs. Make sure your dog is standing up while you are doing this. You can also circle your dog's chest with a leash and then measure the leash where you mark it.
IMPORTANT: It is illegal to label your dog as a Service Dog if you are not disabled. The ADA defines a Service Animal any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. If they meet this definition, animals are considered service animals under the ADA regardless of whether they have been licensed or certified by a state or local government. A service animal is not a pet. Vests for Service Dogs is not responsible for those making purchases under false pretenses.
